Won driving; second and third the same. JUDGE PRYOR began fast and, setting a fast pace, finished well under an energetic ride and outstayed RAPID DAY. The latter was far back for the first half mile and was ridden wide on the last turn, but came with a rush when ridden hard. DUSTY MARY saved much ground on the turns and ran well throughout. Won handily; second and third driving. BASSORAH, away well and close up from the start, raced into the lead in the last seventy yards and won going away. WILL WELLS raced close up from the start, but, after racing into the lead, tired slightly near the end. COUNTRY PRINCESS made up ground and stood a hard drive resolutely. TWILIGHT HOUR ran a good race. BEACH TALK was knocked back at the start, but closed an immense gap and probably would have Avon, but for being ridden wide on turns. VENOM lost her rider when caught in a jam and ran away three miles after the finish. CHEER LEADER closed an immense gap in the stretch and got up for second place in the last stride. FLORENCE W. also came from far back and finished fast. DORIUS seemed sluggish, but raced close up for most of the way and was tiring at the end. ATTRACTIVE set a good pace, but tired after reaching the stretch. JUPITER had no mishaps. DARE SAY was saved close up under restraint until in the last quarter, where she raced Into a small lead and, under hard riding, outstayed PEGASUS. The latter set a fast pace to the stretch and made a game finish. GRAEME raced in closest pursuit to the stretch and tired, but finished gamely. REPUTATION showed the most early speed and set a fast pace, but began tiring in the last eighth. OLD SLIP was going fast at the end. The others were always outrun. NULLI SECUNDUS was forced back sharply on the first turn, but finished well and outstayed SPORTY McGEE. The latter also had a rough race in the early running. NEW GOLD was outrun all he way.
