BOWIE TRACK NOTES BOWIE, McL, Nov. 17. MontfoTt and B. B. Jones motored over from their Audley Farm with E. H. "Snapper" Garrison, to be on hand for the opening day and see their filly. Princess Doreen, run in the Prince George Handicap. It was unfortunate that the press that prints the program broke down before anything like the number required for the big opening day crowd was supplied. This was a discomfort to many, but was unavoidable. Through an error it was announced in all the advance information of the opening of the meeting that the first race would be called to the post and 1 oclock. The post time was 1:15 and will be at that hour, except on Saturdays and Thanksgiving day, when post time will be 1 oclock. Jockey E. Scobie has been suspended by the Maryland Commission for the Bowie meeting for rough riding at Pimlico. Trainer J. W. Healy has turned out the jumpers Melra and Chuckle for the winter at Bennings. The license granted jockey D. Randell has been revoked by the Maryland Racing Commission, due to a controversy with his contract employer, J. W. Healy.
