Wen driving; second and third the same. SISTER FLO was away slowly, but moved up steadily and, finishing gamely after losing much ground by coming wide, got up to win in the last stride. QUOIN ran well, but was given an overconfident ride and lost by it. VANISHING BOY came from far back in the last quarter. STARGO ran a good race. SPANDOR was far back for the first half mile, then moved up rapidly and j finished gamely. BROWNIE saved much ground on the turns and finished fast. TWILIGHT HOUR j moved up resolutely after going a halt mile but tired in the stretch. FASNET was taken back on the last turn and was ridden wide into the stretch. ASA JEWELL was taken back sharply on the first turn and again before reaching the stretch and finished well, when ridden hard. ANNIE LYLE was away poorly and raced well. LITTLE VISITOR, showing the most speed and running well in the going, raced into the lead soon after the start and, under a good ride, held sway to the end, but had to be ridden out. ROTHER-MEL, also away well, followed the winner closely and might have won but for swerving in the stretch when called on. DEEMING raced well and was much the best of the others.
