Seagram Stable Record of 1924 The Seagram Stable of "Waterloo, Ont, has always been one of the foremost and most successful of Canadian racing establishments.! Not only on the tracks of the Dominion havo the Seagram horses displayed their quality but also on various courses of the United States have they at times figured importantly. The Seagram Stable of 1924 met with a goodly measure of success. It was second to the Ross establishment in money won over the Canadian circuit and altogether during the campaign of the current year the Seagram horses won forty-eight races and 3,060 in stakes and purses. This is more than double the sum to the credit of the stable in 1923. The largest contributor to the Seagram total was Digit, the three-year-old Ultimus Miss Valens colt, which accounted for 5,163. Redstone was a big factor in the success of the stable, winning nine races, finishing second four times and third a like number for a total of 1,270. Kings Court also helped considerably with ,365, as did Duchess with ,255, Flowerful with ,715 and Beau of the West with ,640.
