I LEXINGTON TURF NOTES LEXINGTON, Ky., Nov. 20. Mr. Geo. J. Long, who has been spending a few days here attending the races, returned to Louisville Thursday morning. Heinie Cavanaugh will take ten horses belonging to the Portsmouth Stable to New Orleans next Sunday. The band includes six yearlings purchased, at the recent sales here. Theo E. Miller, well-known Louisville sportsman, shipped today to Churchill Downs seven good looking yearlings that he had purchased at the sales here. J. T. Looney, Lexington owner, will have eight horses for the winter campaign at New Orleans in charge of trainer J. C. Shea. The string will include the veteran Sands of Pleasure.
