COL. WINN GOING ABROAD To Visit England and France in Search of Material for International Races. CINCINNATI. Ohio, Nov. 24 Col. M. J. Winn, general manager of the Kentucky Jockey Club, is planning an European trip later in the winter. It is the intention of Col. Winn to visit England and France in search of material for a series of international specials to be decided in this country during the year 1925. The specials, if material can be found to insure their running, are to be built along the same lines as the Zev-Papyrus and the three specials for which Pierre Wertheimer shipped Epinard to the "United States last July. Improvements for the Latonia course are going ahead with speed and it is likely that i the preliminary work on the new stand and where the betting sheds now stand will be well under way before Col. Winn departs.
