WISE COUNSELLOR IS LAME BOWIE, Md., Nov. 24. Wise Counsellor, Frederick Burtons sterling racer, came out of the running of the Gadsden D. Bryan Memorial Handicap in a bad way. The flashy son of Mentor opened up an old quarter crack and will be on the shelf for the remainder of the year.
