WILTRlDE AVOOD, after beginning well, dropped back, but saved ground on the last turn and otitgamed DONITA through the stretch. NIZAM was in tight quarters most of the way, but closed up rapidly through the final eighth and took third place in the last stride. ARCTIC KING began well enough, but was outpaced and swerved out all through the stretch. LUCKY nAYS was the only one of the others to show any speed. RUN-CHIEF began to fall back immediately after the start.
