GOLD LEAF followed the leaders close up to the stretch turn, where he was taken to the middle of the track and, gaining steadily, got up to win in the last few strides. BRUSH ALL moved up steadily after rounding the first turn and raced COPYRIGHT into defeat, then tired. COPYRIGHT set a good pace and saved ground on the turns and made a game, but tiring finish. LIEGE forced the pace to the stretch turn and took the lead, but could not withstand the rush of the winner. LOUISE WAGNER set the early pace and raced gamely, but tired in the stretch.
