i LATEST TURF GOSSIP FROM NEW ORLEANS NEW ORLEANS, La., Dec. 8. Frank A. Tansor arrived with Golden Billows, Sea-Wolf and Intrepid. First Call and Jaunebar have been added to starter Hamiltons schooling list. B. E. Chapman is a recent arrival from Maryland with the veteran racers, Dr. Jim, Erica and Frank Monroe. He also brought the three-year-old, Dancing Fool. D. B. Miller, well-known Kentucky trainer, j arrived Monday from Louisville and will remain here until the close of the winter season. The following have been granted trainer licenses: Wm. Mikel, G. C. Winfrey, J. J. Murphy, H. E. Crist and Frank A. Tansor. Jockeys: George Fields, George Babin and Fred Sharpe. Prancing Prince, regarded as the best horse in the stable that J. S. Owenby is training for J. H. Louchheim, is in a serious condition from pneumonia and but slight hopes are held for his recovery. Foxmore sustained a badly sprained ankle when he fell in the last race at Jefferson Park and the injury is such that his trainer, John D. Grant, has no hopes of again sending the colt to the post until the latter part of the Fair Grounds meeting. J. J. Troxler, whose training license was recently suspended by the Kentucky State Racing Commission on account of the inconsistent running of the two-year-old King Nadi, at the Lexington meeting, arrived at the Fair Grounds Monday with six horses, three of which are his property and the others consigned to other owners. Troxler reported that he had turned over King Nadi to Bob Frakes and that the colt would be wintered at the Lexington track.
