Wen easily; second and third driving. PHILLIPS LOGO followed LA BELLE until midway of the stretch, then took the lead and drew away and won going away. LA BELLE showed the most speed to the last eighth, but tired slightly in the last sixteenth. BLACK MONKEY was tiring badly and just lasted to save third place. DIXIE DICK finished gamely. Won driving; second and third the same. THE ULSTER gained steadily on the outside and caught WEE TODDLER in the last few strides. WEE TODDLER passed MY GRACIE after going a half mile and was racing gamely at the finish. ZERO ran a good race. BROADWAY ROSE began well, but dropped back and finished fast. FICTILE made up ground.
