Won easily: second and third driving. RED SQUIRREL saved ground on the fiist turn and. coming fast after entering the stretch, took the lead and drew away near the end. GYMNAST dispayed much sjioed from the start ami took the lead, but gave way when challenged by GREY ROCK, closed a gap and easily outfinished the others. PRINCESS JANE and JOHN HOSHOR suffered from serious interference on the first turn. CHANNEL was jumped on and badly cut down when caught in close quarters on the first turn. Won easily: second and third driving. PRIVATE PEAT began slowly, but closed up rapidly on the back stretch and, after passing JACK POT into the lead, drew away easily in the stretch. SATANA moved up fast on the last turn and held JUDGE BREUER safe at the end. JUDGE BREUER was pulled up repeatedly, but finished with a rush throuch the stretch and was going fastest of all at the end. JACK POT raced into the lead and tired.
