Won easily; second and third driving. PBINCK OF BOURBON moved up gamely when in the stretch and under hard riding was going away at the end. STORM KDM set a terrific pace to the last eighth, but tired and swerved through thn stretch. LADY AMBASSADOR saved ground on the last turn and finished gamely. MFFKET sot a fast early pace and made a resolute finish. SILKEN MANE, off sh wly, closed a big gap easily and passed the others in the final eighth. COBRA raced extremely wide on the turns. EL JESMAR saved ground on the turns and finished fast. MlSKEG tired after entering the stretch. NORTH BREEZE raced poorly. KIRKCALDY quit after leading to the far turn. SHOWY was hard ridden all the way. finish.-d gamely and was slowly wearing the w.nner down. LORD BALTIMORE II., shuffled back at the start, met with interference when turning out of the back stretch, but came to the outside in the final quarter and finished fast. FRIGATE quit in the stretch. BLUEMONT appeared high in flesh and was not persevered with after tiring. Scratched SH267Sun Altos, 104. OVERALL followed SINGLE FOOT under slight restraint to the stretch turn, from where he moved up on the outsid" of hc leader, was forced wide, but responded gamely when called on, and was drawing clear at the finish. SINGLE FOOT showed excellent speed in fast pacemaking, and was under a stout pull for the fir»t half and, finishing gamely when challenged, ony gave way umbr his weight in the last seventy yards. BY HISSEI.F. off slowly, gradually improved his p.sition and. coming on the outside in tl ;- final quarter, passed DEVONSHIRE in the stretch. CATHLEEN NI HOULIHAN finished gamely and outstayed DOBOTUY ADAMS. The latter was ridden wide on all the turns. GIPSY FLYER quit. FIERY FLIGHT was poorly ridden. INTREPID, dote up from the start, raced into the lead on the back stretch and drew away after rounding the last turn and was under restraint through the final quarter. OOOO NIGHT gained steadily tinder hard riding, and wore ROYAL DUCK down in the last stride. The latter raced in near pursuit of the leader all the way. but tired in the stretch. DUSK was weakly and poorly ridden and finished with a Ulated rush on his own courage. EPISODE was hard ridden, but ran poorly. AL BOYD quit. ASA JEWELL also quit after going three-quarters.
