- a LEXINGTON TURF NOTES LEXINGTON, Ky., April 24. Albert S. Lewis is at present training five horses. The stable includes Mamie O Jane, a four-year-old and the following two-year-olds : Etta Bell, b. f, by Midway — Cain Chaser ; Sherrill, b. f, by Everest — Madam Phelps ; Up She Goes, b. f, by Huon — Peep o Dawn ; Robert G., ch. c, by Master Robert — Reno. Up She Goes and Robert G. are the property of Robert Black, of Lexington, while the others are owned by F. C. McAtee, prominent farmer of Fayette County. Jockey R. McAlaney. who rode successfully at Golumbus, arrived Friday. He has been engaged by trainer Jim Moody to ride for the stable of Theo. E. Mueller. Jockey W. Fronk was among todays arrivals. He is under contract to ride for the stable of B. B. Williams, but as that owner did not ship any horses here from Douglas Iark, he will ride as a Xree lance.
