• LEXINGTON TURF NOTES LEXINGTON, Ky., April 28. Joe-key R. Zucchini has been granted a license to ride. B. A. Jones, Missouri breeder and owner, arrived today from Columbus, Ohio, with the two-year-old Captain Bath, an • intended starter in the Tobacco Stakes, and the five-year-old mare Lorena Marrellia. Jockey 1. Froggatto has been granted a license. He had several mounts this afternoon. Jockey S. Griffin will not be allowed to rid.* again until advices are received from judge Francis Nelson that he is in good standing. The youngster is said to have been suspended at Tijuana before the close of the meeting there. No advices of his suspension had been received by the secretary of the Kentucky State Racing Commission until yesterday, hence the granting of a license to him and his riding during the first two days. The Thoroughbred Horse Association members will, tomorrow night, give a dinner to president E. R. Bradley at Phoenix Hotel. It is expected that there will be about 300 horsemen and guests at the banquet.
