SANDHURST, well ridden and running well in the gong, followed GARR closely until in the last eighth, where he took the lead and came away with ease to win in a canter. GARR iK-gan -well and. under hard riding, fhowed fine speed in the fast pacemaking, but began tiring near the end. STATLER raced well, but had to lie ridden hard to outstay GEO. GROOM. The latter rae-ed into the lead with a rush, but began tiring after reaching the last eighth. SANDY MAN ran , a good race and made a game finish. SANCTION tired in the last eighth. The latter raced prominently all the way and barely failed to get up to win. TIlPITY AVITlHET ran a game race and closed an immense gap in the stretch. MEDDLING MATTIE was speedy, but tired in the last eighth. MISS MISCHIEF set a fast early pace, but quit after reaching the stretch.
