] i ; | j ■ ♦ PROMISING YOUNG RIDER LEXINGTON, Ky, April 29.— Of the jock- eys who are riding here for the first time, and who are unfamiliar to Kentucky race goers, the aprentice W. Charles appears to . be promising. The youngster was astride Hoy in each of his victories .and he has ridden well on other horses. Charles is a resident of Louisville and only began his i riding career last fall at Havana. At the latter track he developed steadily. He is under contract to L. F. OLeary.
