Start good and slow. Won handily; second and third driving. SILVER FOX began .somewhat slowly and met with repeated interference in the early running, then came on the outside when entering the stretch and was bumped by BRIGHT STEEL, taking the lead under hard riding and was going away at the end. BKKiHT STEEL, fractious at the jKWt, ran a good race, but swerved repeatedly. ENSLAVED forced a fast pace from the start and raced OUR RUDDY to defeat, but tired badly at the end. PANIC was away well and was always outpaced. THUNDERING came fast through the stretch. HAYWARD saved ground on the turns. OUR BIDDY set a fast pace, but quit badly in the final sixteenth. CARTOONIST was rushed to the leaders on the outside shortly after the start and was forced wide when entering the stretch, but came fast into the lead and was going away at the end. BUCK POND saved ground on the turns and finished resolutely. ALEX. WOODLIFFE saved ground on the stretch turn but swerved out slightly in the stretch and tired. W1LDRAKE showed early speed, but tired badly and ran out when entering the stretch. MARJORIE C. had no mishaps. RODEO began slowly. The latter was a forward contender throughout and finished gamely. HILLSIDE was away fast, but was taken back and met with interference on the far turn, then came fast through the final eighth. WORTHMORK followed the early leaders closely from the start and was shut off on the far turn, then came to the outside when entering the stretch and under a powerful ride, got up to win in the final stride. NOAH set a fast pace from the start and made a resolute f n all. SERKNADKR ran a good race and finished close up. NELLIE MORSE finished fastest of all. Won driving: second and third the same. OVER FIRE slipped through on the inside while rounding the far turn and raced into a clear lead, but had to be hard ridden to withstand the rush of ATHELSTAN. The latter was outrun for the first half and came n the outside when entering the stretch, but finished fast ana wearing the winner down. aUasUi HEAD was a forward contender from the start, but tired badly und«r his big weight in the final sixteenth. CHICARO ran a good race from the start and outgamed SURPRISE PARTY in the final drive. SURPRISE PARTY showed early speed, but tired when called on. PECORA ran out when entering the stretch and came again. SUOMI had no mishaps. PHANTOM FIRE showed the most early speed, but quit in the stretch. Overweight — Voshell, 2 pounds.
