PLAID raced STAR TIME into defeat and took the lead, but could not withstand the winner. STAR TIME act the early pace, but tired in the final eiglth. CHOW HOW was off rather slowly and could never get to the leaders. GREY RLMP finished well. COUNTESS CLARIDGE was in close quarters on the back stretch.
