Won easily: second and third driving. UPTON, bumped slightly at the start, followed the pace closely, disposed of DOWNCAST in the final eighth, to win with si eed in reserve. HILLSIDE, meeting with earlv interference bore to the outside and finished going strongly. DOWNCAST, showing good early speed, raced straight but weakened at the end. SEA BLAZE finished strongly. BOATMAN made a bad landing at the second fence, but recovered quickly and went well then-after. SAINT SAVIN began slowly but finished stoutly. HANDSOME went badly throughout. SEA SKUIER lost his rider at the eighth feuce. MEADOW MAID fell at the eighth fence. KNIGHT OF GREENANE lost his rider at the seventh fence. Wen easily; second and third driving. GALKTIAN. swerving over sharply after the start, caused much interference, but drew away through the final eighth to win with speed In reserve. SABINE, showing early speed, was bothered by the winner and was not perwvered with. PKENEZ GAKDE showed o good effort from the start and ontgamed KSPINO in the final strides. The latter showed a good effort throughout and held on well. DOMNAY and IRRESISTIBLE could not recover after meeting with interference. The girth on CINNA slipped and he had scant chance.
