Twenty Years Ago Today Chief Turf Events of April 30, 1995 Sunday, no racing. Rapid Transit is said to be one of the best looking colts at Jamaica. Oiseau is working well at Gravesend, where he will probably make his 1905 debut. Willie Shields has sold a half interest in his good colt Oaklawn to his father. Young Shields will still train the colt. The basis of the sale is 5,000. The spring meeting of the Tennessee Breeders Association at Nashville will close Tuesday and from there the majority of the horses will be shipped to Louisville. Some will go to St. Louis and a few to Lexington for the weeks meeting, which opens Wednesday. It is hardly likely that Claude will start at Kansas City before the Elm Ridge Handicap. The good son of Lissak has been ading for some time and Wednesday appeared on the track for the first time since his arrival. He is all right now, but owner Daly says he is going easy with him and by doing so expects to land a number of handicaps here,
