WOODSTOCK PLATE ENTRIES Ontario Jockey Clubs ,000 Fixture for Three-Year-Olds Draws Fifty Nominations. ONTARIO, Can., May 20.— The Woodstock Plate, of ,000 added, is the feature event for three-year-olds at the Ontario Jockey Club spring meeting, and this year the thirty-ninth running of the stake will take place on Victoria Day Monday. May 25. The distance is one mile and a sixteenth. The stake has defied with an even fifty nominations, and there is no question about the quality of those who intend to make a bid for the ,000 purse. Many of the candidates have taken part in the Maryland racing and will come to AVoodbine fit and ready. Some were winners at the winter tracks and have been resting up since those meetings closed.
