w . CLEVELAND TURF NOTES CLEVELAND, Ohio, May 20. Jockey W. Anderson departed for Churchill Downs. Marshall Cassidy was a visitor today. He is enroute to Toronto where he will officiate as starter at the Woodbine Park meeting. Jockey W. Smith has purchased his contract from Padgett and Dougherty and is negotiating with G. F. Croissant to which stable he may become attached. Damon Runyon, crack three-year-old owned by J. H. McMillens Thistledown Stable has gone wrong and will probably be on the shelf for some time. Jockey J. Conners who has been riding for the stable of Eugene Lutz, departed for Montreal to ride at the Mount Royal meeting. Emmersnn Sheppard of the Capital City Racing Association of Columbus, was an arrival today and will remain until after ; the running of the Derby lure on Saturday. The division of the L. T.
