BELMONT TURF NOTES NEW YORK. N. Y.. May 26. Jockey George Cooper, who suffered a fall at Jamaica, is up and about but will be absent from the saddle for another three weeks. K. H. Snapper Garrison made his appearance after having been away from the rati s for some time due to an attack of appendicitis. A. G. ISlakely has taken over six horses for the Laurel Park Stud and will give them their preliminary racing lessons. The youngsters arrived recently from Kngland. Trainer H. C. Piddle has taken up the New rli ans champion Brer Bold. The latter, winner of nine races out of thirteen starts including a victory over Chilhowee, has bean rested up at Jamaica for the past two months. A. C. Itostwiek claimed Moonraker out of the fourth race for ,000. «
