CLOSE SON OF JOHN DEAL LOUISVILLE, Ky.. May 26.— The final arrangements for the transfer of Son of John to the ownership of Jefferson Livingston was consummated this morning when a veterin* arian examination showed the colt to be in good condition. Livingston decided to have Perkins continue training the colt until after his start in the Latonia Derby, when he will be turned over to John F. Schorr, who will succeed Frank Stevens as the Livingston trainer. The horses will at the close of the meeting here be taken to New York in Stevens* care and then turned over to Schorr. I . V. Scott, who sold Son of John to Mr. Livingston, came over from his home in Lexington to make the formal transfer. Tho reported price of the colt was said to have been 0,000. - 4» —
