Macomber Only American with Prospective Starter — ONeill to Ride Him. i SPECIAL CABLEGRAM. LONDON. England. May 26.— Already the annual pilgrimage of racing enthusiasts to Epsom Downs, where the historic Derby Stakes will be decided tomorrow afternoon, has begun. The big race appears on the eve of the running to be a decidedly open one. Lord Astors Cross Bow occupies the position of undisputed favorite on the eve of the race. He is quoted at 5 to 1, while H. E. Morriss Manna is at 11 to 2. King George V.s Runnymede is at 18 to 1. A. K. Macomber is the only American owner who will send an entry to the post. The Sirdar is expected to start In the Macomber colors, but he is a rank outsider. Frank ONeill, although he has severed his connection with the Macomber stable, will ride the colt.
