SIR EDWARD HULTON DEAD Passing of Noted English Turfman — His Oojah Out of Derby Because of His Demise. Sir Edward Hulton, one of Englands most prominent turfmen, died last Sunday. In 1916 his chestnut filly Fifinella, by Polyme-lus, won the Oaks and Derby. Last year hie brown filly, Straightface, by Son in Law — Stolen Kiss, won the Oaks. , He was the owner of her sire. Son in Law. a great racehorse, regarded as one o.f the best stayers of his time on the English turf. Mr. Hulton was one of the. leading publishers of newspapers in London, also In Manchester, until he retired In 1923. Prior to his retirement he disposed of his interesta as a publisher for a price said to have been more than 0,000,000. His business action did not affect his interest in racing, which he contined until his death. His Oojah was a Derby candidate, but because of Mr. Hultons death will not be a starter.
