Won easily: second and third driving. SWEET INVER showed the most speed from the start and, setting a fast pace, won under restraint. SABINA raced green and swerved, but f n shed gamely. FRANCES ROCK finished fast on the outside. FLICKER had a rough race and was bumped repeatedly. BOATMAN set a fast pace from the start, jumped well and came again, after being headed, and outstajed HOUDINI in the final drive. The latter was a forward contender throughout, saved ground when coming to the twelfth jump and, finishing resolutely, was wearing the winner down. AL FRE.SCO ran out when taking the sixth jump and had no chance afterwards. RIP was under restraint Carly and hampered HOUDINI when he moved up, then fell at the twelfth jump. The latter raced in closest pursuit and. coming fast on the outside in the stretch, made a threatening challenge, but was tiring in the f.nal strides. BLISSFUL ran well. DIAGRAM was out of place.
