NO PARIMUTUELS FOR HAWTHORNE HAWTHORNEThe The Chicago Business Mens Racin Association Saturday asked the press to deny the persistent stories that the Association intended to try the mu tuels at Hawthorne Through its general manager Joseph A Murphy the Association made the following statement statementThe The policy of the Business Mens Racing Association from its incep ¬ tion has been as we have often stated strict obedience to law It is needless to say that we would like to use the mutuel but until such time that cither the Legislature has spoken or properly constituted authority lias declared that a modified form of subscription is not in violation of law we shall proceed strictly under the Judge Lindsay decision Our policy in this is final and unalter ¬ able
