Won driving; second and third the same. ALMIRANTE raced close up and. coming fast on the outside in the stretch, raced into the lead, but was hard pressed at the end to withstand TOM SACNDKRS. The latter began slowly and was outrun for the first half, hut closed up with a rush in the stretch and was gaining on the winner at the end. T. II. EYKRITT showed speed and saved ground on all the turns, but tired near the end. BKK BKF. could never improve over fourth place. FRIENDLY FRITZ showed the most speed to the stretch, but quit badly in the last eighth. Overweights — T. H. Everitt, 4 pounds; Bee Bee, 31-.; Helen Buck, 2; Sam Crenet, 3 -j : Sacajawea. SIR BUM was taken far back while going to the first turn, then slowly improved his position on the outside and, finishing fast, got up to win in the final stride. KENTUCKY ROSE set the early pace, raced LOCISB WALLER into defeat and held second place safe at the end. YANEO closed up ground from a slow beginning and ontgamed ERSKINE DALE at the finish. Teh latter was crowded back after going the first quarter and forced to work his way up on the outside. LOUISE WACNER showed early speed. MERRY MARS tired. Scratched— 01173 Ha ran, 103.
