JEFFERSON IMPROVEMENTS LOUISVILLE Ky May 14 Robert S Eddy Jr general manager of the Jefferson Park track were among the arrivals from New Orleans and will remain for some time He stated that the extensive improvements to be made to the Shrewsbury plant will soon be inaugurated and that when it is completed it will embody many features that will add to the comfort of racing patrons Another big improvement for race patrons of the Jefferson track is the complete concrete surfacing of the Metairie road Mr Eddy was enthusiastic over the bright prospects for next years racing at New Orleans I
