MANCHESTER CUP WINNER LONDON England May 23 The Aga Khans Vermilion Pencil son of Gainsbor ¬ ough and Rectify carried 102 pounds to an easy victory in the Manchester Cup this afternoon Invershin carrying 91 pounds was second and Cross Bow with 117 up third The race was decided in a heavy rain storm and the going was soft and deep Sixteen horses started in the race and Vermilion Pencil went to the post favorite at 4 to 1 Invershin was at 1C to 1 and Cross Bow at 10 to 1 Vermilion Pencil took tho lead threeeighths from the finish and drew away to win in hand by three lengths Invershin took the place by four lengths The winner was ridden by SiretL
