BERIBI PROBABLE CHAMPION SPECIAL CABLEGRAM PARIS France May 31 Biribi a three yearold son of Rabelais won the Prix Lupin at Longchamps yesterday by four lengths This was the colts third consecu ¬ tive victory and Biribi now appears the most formidable candidate for the French Derby The colt was bred by Jean Stern and sold at the Deauville auctions as a yearling in 1124 to M Guthmann a friend of Senor Unzue the Argentine breeder The colt is handled by trainer Torterolo a brother of the Argentine jockey now riding here Dark Paul ridden by Keogh won the Prix Tro cadero
