second place in the last eighth Golden Mac failed to display much speed at any stage and was decisively beaten after going half a mile mileFairmount Fairmount Park again was called on to entertain an attendance that exceeded any former gathering here and this too in spite of a heavy downpour all morning lasting almost until race time There was a cessa ¬ tion of moisture until after the running of
