Start good and slow. Won easily: second and third driving. SEMINOLA was hard ridden to take the lead soon after the start, then set a fast pace and saved ground on the turns, but was ridden out to outfinish IANI ROMA. The latter raced close up fiom the stait. saved ground on the first turn and finished fast and gamely. NETTIE SWEEP, forced very wide on the turns, finished fast. PANDY was going well at the end. WILD NOTES, fractious at the barrier, but away fast, was done after going a half mile. EUPHRASIA tired. ACNES CALL suffered from pocketing PEACH ran poorly. ISOSTASY was away slowly and had to race wide, then suffered from some Interference in the- stretch, but finished gamely. CHAPSON began well and ran a good race. LESS K. came fast in the last quarter. PLUCKY PAL also made a good showing HAILSTORM lost much ground through trying to U-lt in the last quarter. SIXTY showed great speed and raced well when ridelen harel in the stretch. NEDDA raced prominently all the way. but tired in the last sixteenth. TEMPEST closed a gap. MR. The latter came fast through the stretch and continued gamely to the finish. RAVING LADY showed a winning effort. She was caught in the barrier, but closed an immense gap and only tired in the last seventy yards. HELEN CARTER tired in the last eighth. CHIEF SABBATTlS quit after showing good speed for three-quarters. FERGI SON raced prominently for a half mile.
