NEW YORK TURF NOTES NEW YORK N Y May 24 24President President J E Widener and secretary John J Coakley will have a conference Wednesday with a group of officials repre ¬ senting the eastern railway systems Follow ¬ ing the conference which will be held at the city offices of the Westchester Racing Asso ¬ ciation a special bus will convey the con ¬ ferees to Belmont Park where President Widener will entertain them at the Turf and Field Club where a luncheon will be served The entire party will be Mr Wideners guests during the afternoon at the races racesFred Fred Hopkins will be in charge of a carload of horses from the H P Whitney Stable which will be shipped tonight from Jamaica to Churchill Downs DownsThomas Thomas J Healey will ship a carload of thoroughbreds from the WilsonSalmon string to Fairmount Park There will be twelve horses and they will leave New York Thurs ¬ day night nightRoy Roy Waldron will take a carload of the Greentree Stable horses to Toronto The shipment will include both jumpers and racers on the flat flatThere There will be a shipment of two cars of thoroughbreds to Chicago on Saturday night Several owners will be represented representedH H T Griffin was a visitor of the day hay ¬ ing just arrived from California where he is now in the real estate business He was kept busy renewing his New York acquain ¬ tances and promises to spend the racing sea ¬ son in the East EastFrank Frank Kelly shipped nine horses last night to Montreal where they will be raced during the meeting at Blue Bonnets BonnetsWhitey Whitey Abel left last night for Louis ¬ ville He will have the mount on Pandora in the Kentucky Oaks OaksEdward Edward Arlington stood the bad Belmont weather just as long as he could and then packed his trunk last night and left for Montreal where he has a string racing at the Mount Royal meeting
