Start good and slow. Won handily: second and third driving. OLD KID was rushed along from the start and, saving much ground when MERIDA bolted out when entering the home stretch, took the lead and was ridden out. MERIDA set a good pace, but bolted on the stretch turn and lost much ground, then came again and finished fast. LUCIE ANN finished with a belated rush on the outside.
