KENTUCKY FALL MEETINGS Dade Park Granted Dates From Sept. 3 to Sept. 17. Churchill Downs, Latonia and Lexington Follow In Order Named, Ending:, the Autumn Season November 26. LATONIA, Ky., June 25. The Kentucky State Racing Commission meeting at the Latonia clubhouse, prior to todays races, authorized fifty-three days of fall .racing at the Latonia, Churchill and the Kentucky Association track at Lexington and a thirteen day September meeting at Dade Park. Fall racing dates granted are as follows : Dade Park, September 3 to September 17, thirteen days. Churchill Downs, September 24 to October 8, thirteen days. Latonia, October 11 to November 12, twenty-nine days. Lexington, November 15 to November 28, eleven days. J. C. Ellis, owner of the Dade Park track, appeared before the board, making personal application for sanction of the meeting at hi3 track. Mr. Ellis, after being advised that the racing body had granted his request, announced, that he would be prepared to make public complete plans for the conduct of the meeting within a few days. The Churchill Downs, Latonia and Lexington dates are much the same as last autumn, when meetings totalling a like number of days were conducted at the three tracks. The three meetings also will be conducted in the same order as last year, when the Churchill Downs meeting was placed in advance of Latonia, with thewindup at Lexington. The convention of the commission was of 1 rather brief duration, the intimation that the 1 meeting would be a protracted one failing to i materialize. A motion to reverse the rules of 1 the commission made by Commissioner W. I. Kohn was passed and chairman Polk Laffoon i named Mr. Kohn and S. S. Combs as a committee to revise the code and submit the i revision at the next meeting of the body. The application of P. J. Williams for a 1 trainers license was read and the secretary of the commission instructed to advise Mr. Williams that he would be given, a hearing 1 by the board at its next meeting. Mr. Williams 1 application had both referred to the commission by the license committee. The commission granted Claude Hunt a I license to ride and he will be affiliated with t the Parkview Stable of Mrs. Geo. B. Cox, of Cincinnati. Following the meeting, which was atr 1 tended by all of the members of the commission s and secretary W. S. Sherwood, who i made a trip from Chicago, the racing gov-? ernors had luncheon at the clubhouse.
