BRADLEY TO RACE IN EAST LENINGTON, Ky., April 18.— Col. E. R. Bradley today said that the Idle Hour Stock Farm band that trainer Dick M. Thompson wintered at Idle Hour Stock Farm will entrain for Belmont Park Tuesday, May 1. "It may be that we will have a few to start at the Kentucky Association track during the first week of the meeting," said Col. Bradley. "These will be sent in by motor van," he continued. "If we find that we have anything worthy to fill stake engagements at Churchill Downs and Latonia they will be sent back from the East, where it is my intention to race the main band in the future. Trainer Will Hurley is now in Maryland with his band. At the close of the Maryland season he will ship his horses to New York and then we will make up a band from the two stables to be sent in charge of Hurley to Chicago. "My niece, Miss Peggie B. Bailey, has six horses in the New York band to race in her name and a couple are to participate in the steeplechase events. We have just employed James C. Bentley, a competent young Irish rider, to pilot these horses.
