Won easily; second and third driving. WESTMOLNT forced the pace from soon after the start, came wide when entering the stretch, u swerved toward the rail at the eighth post and was going away at the end. IRONSIDES improved his J position steadily and finished fast, but was not gaining at the end. MOWLKE raced gamely, but was handicapped by the going. INDIAN SCOlT showed early speed and saved ground where possible, but I quit badly at the end. STRETCHER saved ground when entering the stretch. HIGHLAND CAPTAIN S showed some early speed. ROAD AlENT was always beaten. EIRE F1CHTER could never improve his position. PRATTLE improved her position steadily on the outside, responeled to hard riding in the stretch and. passing NAMA, was going away at the end. NAMA rushed into a clear lead after passing the far turn, but tired badly in the final sixteenth. HALF PINT, away slowly, improved his position steadily on the inside and finished fast. PENOUIN and SHASTA FLAPPER were much used in forcing the early pace and tired. JOHNNY CAMPBELL was tiring at the end. DRAMA ran fairly well. The latter was rushed into second place and made a game challenge in the stretch, but was crowded slightly at the end. LETAIX NE raced well throughout, but tired in the final eighth. AGITATE raced gamely all the way. CHAUNCEY ran well. TIBET, ZEST and CASTILIAN had no chance at the start.
