FOALS AT GRIFFWOOD FARMS BALTIMORE, Md., April 23.— Harry Rites, superintendent of the Griffwood Farms the property erf J. E. Griffith at .Mount Washington, Mel., reports the arrival of fourteen foals this spring. There are about twenty-five mares on the place, several c«f which were not bred last spring. ciiffwooel Farms comprises 300 acres, most of which is in blue grass. Single Foot, by Wrack — Virginia L., will be breel to a majority of the mares on the farm this year. The foals were as follows : Chestnut colt, by Sedgfield-Flora B. Bay colt, by Sediifield — Flapper Oirl. Bay filly, by BedgfJeH— Trout Fly. Bay colt, by Sedgfield — Adonia. Bay filly, by Sed.ficld— Wracklet. Bay colt, by Thunderstorm — Overcast. Bay filly, by Thunderstorm — Faith. Chestnut filly, by Thunderstorm— Kaffir Girl. Chestnut colt, by Fair Cain— Amble. Bay filly, by Fair Cain — Madamoiselle Maxim. Bay colt, by MacKenzie — Elsheth. Bay filly, by Sir tialahad— Virginia L. Bay filly, by Wrack— Placid. Chestnut colt, by Confalon— Lady Wykcham.
