DEATH OF ABE KEMPER NEW YORK, N. Y., May 21.— The death of Abe Kemper Saturday night in his apartment at the Pennsylvania Hotel, was a severe blow to the racing fraternity. The deceased was in his sixty-first year and is survived by a sister and two brothers. He hailed from St. Louis and, for many years was associated with Billy Beverly and later with Frank Shannon. Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 11 oclock at Campbells Funeral Parlors. -*.
