w . LEADING AMERICAN JOCKEYS Jockey Carl Meyer, under contract to Robert McGarvcy, trainer of the horses of Stuyvcsant Peabody of Chicago, was idle last week and as a result his record is identical with that of the last publication, to wit, 101 winners. His closest rival for ruling honors, A. Robertson, who recently displaced T. Luther, could only ride one winner and Meyer, as a result, still holds a commanding lead of twenty-seven winners. The high mark of the six days of racing was six winners, the record of J. Leyland. J. Inzelone had another good week with five successful mounts. Following are the complete records of the thirty leading American riders from January 1 up to and including the racing of last Saturday. Jockev. Mts. 1st. 2d. 3d. Unp. T.C.L.W.
