Deduct One Percent, Daily Racing Form, 1929-05-16

DEDUCT ONE PERCENT LOUISVILLE, Ky.. May 15.— A committee of members of the Thoroughbred Horse Association this morning called upon Col. M. J. Winn, managing director of Churchill Downs, and asked that the track management, as a convenience to their organization, deduct for the account of the association 1 per cent of all first moneys won during the meeting by horses owned by members of the horsemens body who formally authorized the management to do so. The request was granted.
