BREAKAWAY disposed of 1TSO on the back stretch and raced in closest pursuit of the leaders, hut failed to threaten her. ALICE ON saved ground and gained gradually, getting up to outfinish QRANOT DLST. HENRY SOMMERS began slowly but beginning gradually worked his way up to the leaders on the outside, wore down and outfinished RUTH GOLD and LITTLE GlINEA in the last eighth L1TTI H GUINEA overtook and wrested the lead from BRIGHT PLUME, but tired in the final drive RPTH GOLD raced close up on the inside, saved much ground and held on well. EDITH GRAY was gaining slowly all the way. CHICK UP began slowly and closed a wide gap. CRAFTY SAINT tired near thl end. PASSAUF and BRIGHT PLUME quit. Si ratched— 37254 My Davy, 108. ERIN QUEEN showed the most early speed set a good pace to the stretch and. tiring slightly, held on well. LIKE TIME gained ground rapidly in the early stages, ran forwardly and outstayed the remainder. GRACELAND was gaining at the end and raced well. WILL BANK tired. PUNKIE, hard ridden, showed good speed all the way and when roused in the final drive outgamed CLOVER CLIR and held WAR GRAIL safe. The latter bad no mishaps and raced well. CLOVER CLUB tired badly.
