LICENSES APPROVED At a *aaa*Mj of the license committee of the Illinois Turf Association, laid in tho stewards room at Washington Park, several applications were approved and a few were held up for further consideration. Applications of trainers Benjamin K. Chapman and John Bainton were approved. Frank L . Wilson, who made application for a trainer* license, was ยป rmittcd to withdraw it. The following applications of jockeys were recommended to be tabled : John Ambrose, Newton Barrett, Anthony J. Francesco, William Lk Smith, Sid Trenchard and John Kirby.
