ft $ Plentiful Supply of Omaha Horses for Butte, Mont., Meeting $ $ OMAHA, Neb., June 14.— There will be no shortage of horses at Butte, if the shipment from Omaha is a criterion. Already over forty owners, who were racing here, have engaged stalls for upward of 200 horses and the general exodus will begin as the stalls at the new Marcus Daly Park have been completed and the racing strip is ready for exercising of thoroughbreds. The consignment from Omaha will be headed by the well-known westerner C. B Irwin and will also include the strings of L. T. Whitehill, Alexander Pantages, K. S. Cleveland. J. Pelter and others. The Midnight Follies Stable and the strings of A. G. Tarn and Mike Syufy have been sent to Winnipeg and will double back to Butte at the conclusion of the Canadian meeting on July 2. Messrs. Roe and Schilling, who visited Omaha last week in the interests of the Butte meeting, stated that they had received numerous requests for stalls in their recent tour of the midwestcrn tracks and felt that the Montana mining city was in for a great meeting. Racing at Butte will start on July 13 and will continue for twenty-five days.
