NEW BARNS AT HOMEWOOD HOMEWOOD, 111., April 4. Great activity is being shown around the Washington Park course in the last few days. A general house cleaning is under way. A force of painters have been put to work painting the barns and several car loads of lumber have arrived for the construction of four new barns. One of the first stables that is expected to arrive within the next day or two is that of A. A. BarOni, who raced with marked success at Agua Caliente the past winter and whose stable was one of the leading money winners at the local tracks last season, being at that time headed by Crpfton and Riff Raff. Ba-roni has quite a number of two-year-olds in his barn this year, which are said to be first class.
