I CLAIMS AND SALES Miss Ruth Sarnecke of Chicago, purchased Miss Ramsey and Bela Basil from Mrs. Peck, also of Chicago, and turned them over to W. F. Poison to train. H. Hoag purchased the veteran campaigner, Flag Lieutenant, from E. Lombard. W. L. Hoag will train him for future engagements. H. Carroll, at private terms, purchased from the F. J. Kearns stable at Havana the plater Little Bill. Edward Haughton sold Doreen Princess to E. D. Slavin at Jefferson and along with other of the Slavin horses she will be shipped to Brookfield, Mo., next week. Slavin will rest his horses for some time before preparing them for the Riverside Spring meeting. At Brookfield Slavin will take up Charles McCroan and Partial, which have been running out.
