ANALYST, away fast and always close up, saved much ground while under light restraint for half a mile and, responding resolutely, disposed of the leaders and won easily. BEGGAR. LADY began slowly, came through several small openings when working her way up and was racing strongly at the end. CHILHOMA, given a hustling ride, showed speed, saved ground and tired after reaching the final eighth. MOTIVE showed good speed from the start, was unable to get up and was weakly ridden near the end. CATALANS IDOL was hard urged in the final three-eighths. RED SHADOW lacked his customary speed. DOROTHY HICKS quit badly in the stretch. The latter showed good speed, but tired and may improve with the effort. ISKUM, always close up, lost ground and raced evenly in the stretch. FORTUNA MIA closed well. MINGLE, away poorly, showed a fine performance. TENNYWOOD showed speed for half a mile. PRINCE ASCOT, away slowly, was always far back. MAYETTA lacked her usual speed. MEMPHIS LASS, taken into the lead and well rated, tired in the stretch. CHARLIE BILLS began in a tangle and closed a big gap in the closing quarter. LOYAL LOUIE was under pressure most of the way. MISS UPSET, injured about her left shoulder at the post, had a rough race. RIVET was forced back by SPORTING MAUDIE when running well on the far turn.
